Wood Floor Clean & Polish
Planned maintenance (clean and polish) of wooden floor is always recommended for newly laid or recently sanded floors. This will keep the look of your floors and keep them protected
Marble Restoration
If a marble floor is scratched, deeply soiled, or has a build-up of yellowed wax or discoloured sealers, the lustre and natural colour can be restored by wet sanding and chemical stripping. Sanding is followed by honing and polishing.
Marble and Stone floor restoration involves few major procedures.
- The first stage of marble and stone floor restoration is to remove lippage or deep scratches and stains. It consists of grinding and leveling the floor. Even new installed floors can have lippage and scratches. This step removes the lippage and any roughness. Also removes the most deepest scratches and stains.
- Honing is the 2 step of smoothing the marble or Stone floor with industrial diamonds, which leaves a non shine to the Stone or Marble. Honing will also remove scratches, stains and give a more uniform appearance. In some cases honing is all that is needed to get your stone looking good again.
- Polishing gives a semi-shining or shining effect to the marble floor.
- Crystallization is a method of marble floor finishing. Its brings a ” mirror like” shine by chemical reaction on the surface of marble or some stones.
